They also show us that not long after CO2 increases and there's an intense period of global warming, there's usually an ice age that lasts about 10,000 years and CO2 level's drop again. It seems we're either due for one or making one, but I can't figure out which. <BR/><BR/>The tundra melting, the Gulf Stream warming and slowing down, the ice flows melting 10 times faster now than they were 2 years ago, all these things are early warning signs. Once the Gulf Stream stops, it generally means major glaciation (ice almost to the tropics) in 50 years or less.<BR/><BR/>Your previous post is also interesting in this context I think.
